Scholarship & Aid
GDE is honored to support students at all levels of education—K-12, vocational training, and higher education—through the Freed African American Education Care Application (FAAECA) program. This initiative provides scholarships and student aid to African American learners and individuals from marginalized communities who face financial barriers to accessing quality education.
Eligibility
The FAAECA program is open to:
- Students enrolled or planning to enroll in any level of education, including K-12 schools, vocational training institutions, and colleges/universities.
- Individuals from African American and other marginalized communities who demonstrate financial need.
- Applicants who are committed to pursuing education as a pathway to personal and community empowerment.
This program reflects GDE’s unwavering commitment to fostering equity, diversity, and opportunity by breaking down barriers to education and creating pathways for lifelong success.
